Chick was a mountain of a man. His commanding presence and joy of all things made him the literal life of the . . . well, everything. He did not live life part way or with any hesitancy. He owned it. We were fortunate to have spent some great events and moments with Chick and his lovely bride, Renee. We admired their union. It was never “Let’s go see Chick” or “we’re going with Renee.” It was “Chick and Renee are going to be there’ or “we’re invited to Annapolis with Chick and Renee” and “we’re doing crabs at Chick and Renee’s pool.” His spirit is evident in his family and his legacy will be immortal. God bless you, my friend, and rest in peace. Love, JoAnn and Michael Brainard.
