Charles Henry DuBois

Charles Henry DuBois "Charley" (age 65) of Oakton, VA, departed this life on Thursday, September 4, 2014 surrounded by family at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Ralph Hector DuBois and Mary Quinn DuBois of Birmingham, MI.
Mr. DuBois was a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Political Science and a Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's Law School in San Antonio, TX. He was a member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity. He began his career at the City Attorney's Office in Corpus Christi, TX, after which he entered private practice with Cohn, Casstevens, and Bircher, P.C., known then as Wood, & Burney. Mr. DuBois then began a 28 year career at ExxonMobil, including serving as Corporate Secretary for Mobil Oil Corporation and Chief Attorney, Fuels Marketing for ExxonMobil. Mr. DuBois retired in 2008.
Surviving Charley is his wife of 42 years, Julia Hydrick DuBois; his daughter Molly Frances DuBois, her fiance', Christopher Edward Smith, of Los Angeles, CA and son, Kelly Esgen DuBois and his wife, Charmaine Bandoy DuBois; granddaughter, Elena Julia Bandoy DuBois, of Vienna, VA; and sister, Molly DuBois Brining, of San Francisco, CA.
A memorial service will be conducted at McLean Bible Church, McLean, VA at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2014. The family will receive friends Friday, immediately following the service at McLean Bible Church.
