Walt one of Gods soldiers.
My prayers are with you, Emzie! I love you!
I remember Walt very fondly. I met him through his daughter, Emily, when we were in college. Walt became my “surrogate father,” as my parents were living in Florida. He always shared stories about the past, yet managed to stay current, even with the young folk. I will miss him very much. I wish my husband could have been able to meet him. He would have liked him. Walt is in the Loving Hands of Our Father, now. I pray that his remaining family members find comfort in knowing that he has no more pain or sadness. Walt lives among all of us in our hearts and through our memories of him. May he rest in peace
Emily, My family and my self have known your family for many years. Infact your father married my husband and I in June of 97 and it was a great honor for me to have your dad do that for us. Your parents were one of akind. They were always there one someone was in need and for that we will always be grateful to them. We are so sorry for your loss and we know that he is with Mary again and they are smiling down from Heaven at all of us… My you and you family celebrate the happy times of your lifes. God Bless The O’neil and Courchaine and Oleyniczak Families
Walt has graduated! And y’all made his last years in this phase of his life one that was filled compassion and surrounded by a loving family. The importance of family unity and compassion was accomplished when you were starting a family and career changes were ongoing. I,m sure Walt was appreciative of having the peace and comfort of spending his end time with y’all. May the peace of the Lord be with him and with y’all today and all the tomorrow,s. Love, Jeanie & Ed
We send our deepest sympathy to you Emilie. Your Father played a major role in our Christian life. God Bless you and yours. Love, Dar and Dennie
Emily, I am your long lost cousin, a daughter of Mary Fitch Edwards, your father’s sister. Our family (sister Carole) has lost touch with the family. My husband and I were researching families on line and we put your father’s name in. In reading the comments in the guest book it sounds as though your father was a wonderful man and had a great following. I regret we never kept in touch. Our mother passed away in 1982. Best wishes to you and your family, you must have many happy memories of your dad. Mary Culver
