Passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Sunrise of Hunter Mill. Wife of the late Baskin R. Lawrence, Brig. Gen., USAF and Lewis J. Fields, Lt. Gen., USMC; devoted mother of Sherin L. Rose and Shelley Vickery; grandmother of Cheryl England, Kathryn Vallejo, Paul Rose, Jr., Meredith Vickery and Andrew Vickery. Also survived by 12 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, Va on Thursday, December 19 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20th at 1 PM at Fairfax United Methodist Church, 10300 Stratford Ave., Fairfax, Va. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G. Komen at Komen.org.

Aunt Cheryl was a wonderful lady and Susan and I enjoyed every moment that we were able to spend with her. Susan has recently joined Aunt Cheryl and I am sure they are remembering the good times that they had together. God bless you. I will keep you in my prayers and ask that you pray for me.
