Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Joelle, When we lose the ones we love it’s as if we lose a part of ourselves and we feel bewildered and lonely… And we cannot begin to see how the dark clouds of sorrow will ever lift, But be assured, that, as sunshine follows showers, happier memories will break through and help you toward brighter days. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God Bless, Sharon Harley-Nimmons

  2. From everyone at Regulated Vehicle Programs & Vehicle Licensing at ICBC – our thoughts are with Joelle and her family during this difficult time. May Christopher rest in peace.

  4. Joelle, You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sending you all of my strength and love. Remember, Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass… It is about learning to dance in the rain.

  5. Joelle, We are so saddened to hear the news. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. There is so little that anyone can say or do at a time like this, but I hope that the knowledge that you have many friends who care for you and wish the best for you will give you comfort now.

  6. Joelle: My deepest heartfelt sympathies to you and your family at this time of grief. May God bestow his loving hand upon you and yours and give you strength and comfort. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  8. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Chris was a true role model to my son Jack during his four years as his coach in Vienna Lacrosse. And what a great father Chris was — we had numerous talks about our sons while we stood at the field. Always hanging in our home will be the photo that Chris took of our championship team two years ago. Joe Findaro (and Jack)

  9. Joelle, May happy memories and the knowledge that Chris, as well as countless family members and friends love you, be a source of comfort in this sorrowful time. Chris was quite a guy and we are all better for having known him. Thank you for sharing him with us.

  10. CJ & Nick, I am so sorry that your dad lost his battle with cancer. His strength and courage throughout his illness was admirable. Coach Ward’s passion for lacrosse and endless hours of coaching taught me to never give up!

  15. Joelle & Family, My prayers and heartfelt sympathy are with you all at this time, and I pray for peace, strength & courage for your precious family. It seems unfair, and the music didn’t play nearly long enough, but at least you got to dance! It is those memories that will keep you strong in the days and years to come.

  16. With great sadness and deepest sympathy, we will always remember Chris with his warm smile and unselfish giving of time. He was a warm and generous father who was an incredible supporter of all activities that Nick and CJ were involved in. From chaperoning the first field trip at Crossfield with Mrs. B to offering the suit of armor for the Medieval feast to speaking at Career Day, he was always positive with a “can do” attitude, no matter the task. Nothing could get him down when it came to the boys. We’ll miss him and there will be a light shining forever on the lacrosse field and school hallways in his spirit.

  30. To the family of Chris Ward, I have been following Chris and Joelle’s battle on your web site. Joelle, you have done a great job of keeping everyone updated. I know this battle wasn’t just Chris’s, but your whole family’s and I am so sorry for the whole Ward family. I never met Chris, but you did a goog job of giving us a glimpse of who he was. Sounds to me that that’s a man that will never be forgotten. He impacted many lives in such a positive way. I am sure he heard the words from the Lord himself, well done good and faithful servant. As Jesus said to the thief on the cross, Today you will be with me in paradise. He’s in paradise today, whole, healthy, and will be there to greet you when you get there. May God bless you as you go through the difficult times ahead. love and prayers, Tina Stattner( Linn’s friend from Idaho).
