Although I knew Claudia for a very short time she was truly special to me. She was always thoughtful and cared a great deal for others. Her thoughtful words on a birthday card or the crockpot cookbook that she thought I would enjoy were just a few ways she made my day. I will miss Claudia very dearly and I am truly sorry for your loss.
My Kodak-moment memories of Claudia include: The Business Banks Christmas party where Bob was introducing Claudia to his co-workers 2 years ago: Bob had a revived spirit and was so pleased to have Claudia by his side, introducing her for the 1st time to some of us. The next was when Bob and Claudia invited me over for dinner. Seeing the interplay between Bob and Claudia was like seeing and being with newly-weds so enjoying each others company. Another was talking with Claudia about her coupon clipping, sales-savings grocery trips. How she enjoyed getting deals and saving her and Bob money. The last Kodak moment was seeing Claudia in Bobs office waiting to go for another treatment. She put on a brave face and tried to muster an upbeat demeanor, I thought not so much for herself , but for me so that I wouldnt feel bad. Claudia was a good woman and I will miss the effect that she brought to Bob and how she enlivened his life. God bless you Claudia and God bless you Bob.
I had the pleasure of meeting Claudia a few times at the bank. I admired her strength & bravery. I always enjoyed hearing Bob’s stories about her. I’m so sorry for your loss.
My first encounter with Clauida was in 2007 at the Christmas party of The Business Bank and I was really pleased to see Bob happy with Claudia. Also couple of times in the bank I spoke to her after she was diagnosed with cancer. She was very positive and determined to fight. She will be dearly missed. Please accept my hearfelt condolences during this diffcult time. I do hope that the comfort and support of those who love you, along with the tender memories you hold so deeply within your heart give you strength. My prayers are with you!
Bob, It has been such a pleasure watching your happiness everyday with Claudia and sharing stories. I loved the day that she came in wearing her pink hat. She noticed that the bank had a breast cancer campaign happening with “Pink Hair” pieces and she attached it to her hat and said “I need some hair”!! We will miss her sweet smile and she fought this cancer with dignity. She loved you very much and just know that the angels are making her smile now. May God Bless you Bob and give you peace. Donna
It was truly a priveledge to get to know Claudia and to understand the positive impact that she had in Bob’s life. Claudia touched many of us, through her courageous battle with cancer and through the way she touched the heart of Bob. Bob has shared so many wonderful memories of the 42 years he and Claudia have known one another. I feel fortunate to have known Claudia, though much too briefly, over the past few years. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Claudia moved into our neighborhood and then into our hearts. She had such a winning smile- she lit up the room! Her no nonsense approach to life was wonderful. I feel so sorry. This is sad.
IM SO GLAD THAT I HAD THE CHANCE TO MEET CLAUDIA. I KNOW SHE WAS THE BIGGEST PART OF YOUR LIFE BUT SHE IS NOW IN GODS HANDS RESTING IN PEACE WITH THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN. I HAVE LEARNED THROUGH BOB AND CLAUDIA THAT YOU ARE NEVER TO OLD TO EXPRESS YOUR LOVE AND COMPANIONSHIP FOR ONE ANOTHER. CLAUDIA YOU WILL BE MISSED DEARLY BY EVERYONE. YOU WERE AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL. REST IN PEACE. LOVE SAMATHA
