Passed away on January 24, 2015 at Tyson Woods Assisted Living in Vienna, Va. She shared her love of art and nature as a teacher in Fairfax middle schools, 1964-1979, and later by making pottery, painting glassware and feeding birds at her beloved home on lake Anna in Mineral, Va. There will be no services.

To the family of Ms. Cole, I know that this is a very difficult time for you. We as humans were never meant to experience the pain of losing a loved one to death. God’s purpose for us is that we live forever on the earth in perfect health and perfect conditions. The Bible mentions a time when the ones who have passed away will rise again in John 5:28,29. Take comfort in knowing that you will see Colette again. Please accept my condolences.
