Daniel F. Lane, 66, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at his home in Vienna, Va. He was the husband of the late Anne Therese Lane. Father of Dan Lane and Maureen Amiryar, brother of mary Wagenhoffer, grandfather of Cameron & Isaac.

I will never forget the first time I met Danny when he and Anne lived out on Long Island. He was so quiet and always so sweet to me. I am thankful for the last time when I saw him in August of this year with my Godmother, Joanie. Thank you Danny for the effort you made to come to visit all the way from VA to NY. Its a memory I will have forever….I will miss you so….
I knew Dan when he worked as a Federal Agent & Manager. Dan was a dedicated and effective Agent; who was on the forefront of several very successful cases & projects. He was also a very effective, and respected, leader. He is sorely missed.
