What fun I had with David! Many fond memories of gallery openings and great food! My thoughts are with Joe and David’s family and friends. His life was indeed well lived. It was my pleasure to know him.
Joe, I just heard from Susan that David passed away. I’m so sorry to know that. I remember him with such affection. He was always so kind to me when I worked for you. I Remember of course his wonderful cooking as well. All my love to you. I know you will miss him after all these years. Much love. Barbara

Dear Joe, I was so sad to hear the news from Susan; I love reliving memories of the wonderful dinners at your home during the gallery events. You and David were so generous with your time and hospitality and set the bar high!

Dear Joe, I was so sorry to hear of David’s death. He was a warm and lovely person and, like you, a wonderful host whenever I visited your home. You have my deepest sympathies.
It doesn’t seem right that the entire world didn’t stop at least for a tiny moment to reflect on all of the kindnesses and happiness that Dave bestowed on everyone fortunate enough to know that sly grin and twinkling smile. I am so lucky you and Marcel shared him and the special world you created together with me. I know the ache in your heart is deep and vast, never to be filled.
Joe, I was saddened to read about the passing of your partner. I have many fond memories of you over the years. Wishing you joy and peace in the future………
Dear Joe, I am so sorry to learn of David’s passing. Wishing you all the strength and support you will need to get you through this difficult time. Just know I am thinking of you.
