David Tobias, 43, died on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at his residence in Reston, Va. Beloved husband of Chrissy Tobias, devoted father of Reagan and Brooke Tobias, Son of Thomas and Joyce Tobias, brother of Gary, Daniel, Anne Marie, Sherry Lynn, Mark and Christopher.

He spoke highly of his beautiful family who gave him such love and support and who helped make him such a beautiful soul.   9. Chrissy, I have no words sufficient to express the sorrow. You all are never far from my thoughts and prayers. May God supply the strength and grace needed to continue on. I am so far removed from the situation that it really doesn’t seem real to me. I can still see you, Dave and the girls at a Graham reunion in VA talking about tennis practice……and in the driveway in PA, Dave telling Danny how awesome it is to enter car pool in the rain with a minivan with doors that open with the touch of a button….what an awesome husband and father. Even though it’s been a long time now, I can still picture his smile and hear his laugh. My heart is heavy for your loss, and for his wife and children. All of you are in my prayers.

  22. I am so sorry for your loss. David was such a wonderful, kind person. I haven’t seen him since high school but what I remember most about him was how he made me laugh.   26. Dave was a classmate of mine at TJHS and he was a wonderful person with kind words and a smile that lit up a room! Though we parted after high school, I can clearly recall what he wrote in my yearbook: live life to the fullest! My condolences to the whole family—- Dave was truly a gem if a person and I am lucky to have known him!

  27. Dave was a TJHS classmate who always seemed to be in good spirits, had boundless energy and could always make you laugh. My heart goes out to his entire family, especially his children. Your dad was, as they say, one of the truly good ones.
