Mr. Delfin G. Hernandez

Delfin G. Hernandez, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 3, 2024, surrounded by his loving family in Virginia. Born in Catarman, Northern Samar, Philippines, on August 9, 1945, Delfin led a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and a passion for fishing.
In 1977, Delfin embarked on a new chapter of his life when he moved to the United States, where he found his soul mate in Eudosia Hernandez. They were married on October 15, 1977, and shared a bond that was as enduring as it was beautiful. For the past 47 years, Delfin called Virginia his home, where he raised two wonderful children, Carlo and Anneliese, whom he cherished deeply.
Fishing was more than just a hobby for Delfin; it was a way of life. He spent countless hours casting lines and reeling in memories across the waters of Virginia and Maryland. Even as Parkinson’s disease challenged him, his indomitable spirit and unwavering sense of humor never waned. He faced life with courage and determination, finding solace and joy in the simplicity of nature’s embrace.
Delfin leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Eudosia Hernandez, his son Carlo Hernandez, his daughter Anneliese Hernandez, and his three adoring grandchildren, Gabriel and Noah Hernandez, and Jaden Chan.
