Don came on my squad at Franconia when he joined Fairfax County. He was one of the most intelligent and interesting persons I have ever known. I remember going to his home and he showed me his coumputer set up. Don was in on the very beginning of personal computer technology and here we are today using this same means to remember and acknowledge him. God Bless you Don…
Don, You always knew how to enjoy life. Had a blast working with you when I was a rookie at Franconia. I’m glad you got to live your dream in Myrtle Beach. My condolances to your family. May they find comfort in knowing that your great life will continue in the heavens above.
I was sad to learn of Don’s passing. He worked patrol at Franconia when I worked at Groveton. We did some partying in those good old days. He was a good guy with a sense of humor. Active or retired we all are FCPD brothers and sisters. Now he can ride the big Harley in the sky. He will be missed, God bless the family.
Don, Knowing you the way I did I can say this “YOU LIVED YOUR LIFE YOUR WAY”. You had good times and hard times but you always smiled no matter what. I am proud to have called you a friend and best pal. Going to miss you ole pal! Tina he will be waiting on you, ready to ride on golden highways.
Don was my FTI, fellow officer and Friend, I still think about the Motorcycle trip to Ocean City, Md – party hardy and ride forever – may you rest in peace

MY BELOVED HUSBAND DAVID PARKS, HAS/HAD A RELATIVE WHO WORKED FOR FAIRFAX COUNTY POLICE. THIS IS TRULY A TESTAMENT THAT WE SHOULD ENJOY EACH AND EVERY DAY TO ITS FULLEST. HE WILL CERTAINLY BE MISSED, BUT WILL BE AMONG MANY ANGELS. RITA A. MCDONALD PARKS

God Bless You, Don. We had great times at 945 N. Quantico. We watched Bonanza together for the 1st time in color at 945 N. Quantico. We played “guns” together, played with the train set and had many great Sunday afternoon memories when we were little kids. I will miss our periodic phone calls of encouragement to each other. You were a wonderful man, Don. As Bob Hope always said, ” Thanks for the memories”. God Bless You !
May you rest in peace my friend. There are many people who we remember as we go through life. Some are good some not. You are one that will never be forgotten. We shared many great times, you were a valued member of the FCPD Motor Squad. What great memories you leave me from those times. Ride freely with The General now that you two are together again.
WOW, I can’t believe it. Don helped me with advice many times in my “rookie” year at Franconia District. Sure will miss his big smile.
Wow Don! Gone way to early. You always talked about retiring to Myrtle Beach so I am glad you left from there. Enjoyed working with you in Loudoun. You were a big help. My condolences to Dons family. May he rest in peace.
Mr. Ingerski, I didn’t see you many times during the school year, but I’ve heard many sweet things about you. Sorry you had to go so soon.
Donald, Sue and I were very sad to hear of your death. I will never forget your wit and wisdom while we were on motors together in Fairfax, VA. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends.
Hi, I was very sad to hear of Don’s passing. He and some other of his Motorcycle buddies used to some and see my band play back in the 90s and we always had a good time with Don there. A few years later, I found that (I think) One of my son’s friends, Sarah Ingerski,is Don’s niece, do I have that right? Well either way you have my sincere sympathies for your loss. Don was a true gentleman in my opinion. Brook Yoder
My prayers are with the family. Don and I started our Fairfax careers together and we never stopped contact. Rest in peace my brother.
To Don’s family and friends, I grew up with Donald in the old neighborhood in Arlington, 1st-12th grade and we were always friends. I remember a boston terrier the family had. We were re-connected about 20 yrs ago when I was playing in a band with Billy Branch & Brook Yoder and we had plenty of shared interests. Don always got a kick out of the song “Secret Agent Man” so we always dedicated it to him. Ride on brother, you will be missed…
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Donald’s family. I have so many fond childhood memories of time spent with my cousin Donald in Virginia : laughing at Mad magazine, playing with the coolest train set ever, listening to ham radio, going fishing, and playing with Skipper in the back yard. I am happy for you Donald that you had a good, full, loving lifetime. Peace be with you. Barbara, Bill and James Mann
I was so sad to hear of Don’s passing. Tina, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this hard time. I will always remember him as “the man with the hot sauce” Have a Jagermeister for me Don. Holly Roeder
I’ll miss you so much and I’ll miss our “message from SC”. We can’t believe your gone. Tina and family you have my sincerest sympathy. I think he went early because he had “bigger fish to fry”.
Dear Family and Friends of Don, Don helped me smile when I didn’t think I ever would. He was gruff, to the point, and one of the kindest men I ever knew. I will always be “Plant” to him and will miss hearing him call me that. Don, take care of all of the bikers in Hog Heaven! Love, “Plant”

Dear Tina, We have been thinking of you and praying for you in these past days. You and Don are both special people to us. We enjoyed so many of our “backyard talks” over the fence, and things are not the same without Don’s voice and face greeting us at some point just about every day. We will always be here for you in any way we can, lifting you up in prayer that the Lord will give you His peace and comfort.
Dear Tina and family, I just wanted to let you know how sorry I was to hear about Don. He will be missed by all that knew him. Please know that I am thinking of you during this time. Debbie Berman
Dear Family and Friends of Don, I will truly miss our “rooster in the hen house!” I am blessed to have had him as my friend. My prayers are with you all.

My condolences to the Ingerski family. Some great times coming to work in the 80’s with Don on motors.
What a shock to hear about Don’s passing. Don was, as some others have mentioned, “his own man.” Don was one of my officers as squad supervisor at Franconia and was always thinking about how to do things “different” but better. My heartfelt condolensces to all his family and friends. Go with God my friend. Andy
Condolences to all Don’s family and friends. I was so very sorry to learn this sad news. I met Don in 1996 through the IPA when visiting the US from England . Don and Tina showed us every hospitality. Don and I have kept contact over the years since and I shall miss receiving his emails with news and views. Rest in peace.
Hi, we are very sorry to hear about Donald. My father (Stan Widloski) has been trying to get in touch with Walter Ingerski, and it seems his phone has been disconnected. We are from Champaign Il and my dad and Walter and Doris were all friends for many years. I believe he just spoke to Walter about 4-6 months ago and wanted to get in touch. Is there any info you could send me, ? We would appreciate any news or where abouts, thanks , LuAnn
Don Ingerski was my grandfather. I do not share the family name but I’m I am absolutely related to him. He was my favorite grandpa ever. I am only ten years old and I shouldn’t have to suffer and grieve. He should be with me on this Thanksgiving. I hope he is watching me now, but I’m sure he’s having a better time in a better place, playing and akin care of Evo. Love, Jaidyn
