Dear Mary, Jamie, Annie, Tommy, and Patrick, Please know that as one of your many friends that care, I have you in my prayers during this sad time.
Mary, Jamie, Annie, Tommy, Patrick, Our condolences and prayers are being sent to all of you in this time of grief and sadness. We can’t always explain and understand life’s difficulties that are thrown our way, but our friends and family are there for us to lean on during these challenging times, and yours are no exception. We’re there for you, whatever and whenever you need.
We were so deeply saddened by the news of Don’s passing. He was a terrific person and possessed a truly delightful spirit. Fitz was especially grateful to have known him as a coach. You could tell he truly loved it. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Dear Mary – Jamie, Tommy, Annie and Patrick: While our paths haven’t crossed as much as I’d like in recent years due to school choices, we have known you for so many years and send you tons of love and prayers. We pray that the deep love Don shared with each of you will surround and comfort your heart. We pray that love will overcome understanding and build a strong foundation forever. May the Lord hold each of you and Don gently in His arms. With our love… Liz and Den, Matt-Alex and Hank
Dear Family Minkler, All the Leonards send their deepest sympathy. We are so sorry. There are no words that seem right. If we can help in any way, please let us know. I remember your Dad as always so nice and easy to talk to at games as we waited on the sidelines as the girls played and he carried Patrick on his shoulders and we had fun. He even didn’t get mad when he had to take care of that bee’s nest when Tommy mowed the lawn. We saw you all together at Christmas Eve service and thought how nice that neighboring families-and yours so full of love- are joining together in prayer at a neighborhood church. We are praying-for Don, for each of you-that God will be with you and give you strength of mind, body and soul. Blessings of healing and love, Nancy, Rick, Kate, Sheila and Juliet
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are shocked and saddened at the news of Don’s passing. Dear Mary and family, It was with much shock, dismay and sadness that we learned of Don’s death. It was so obvious to us, as around-the-corner neighbors for nearly six years, how much he adored and cherished you and the kids. Dear Mary, Jamie, Annie, Tommy and Patrick, When Joey and Tommy were in 2nd grade in Mr. Kohls’ class, Suzanne was helping in the classroom one afternoon when the kids were doing reports on “Take Your Sons to Work Day”. She came home and told all of us that she was so moved by how much joy and unbridled enthusiasm Tommy expressed about that day at work with his Dad. All of the Minkler kids have that “special something” and it’s because of the absolute love their parents have always shown for them. It is in that spirit that we express how blessed we are to know your family. Please know that we will keep Don’s memory forever in our hearts and prayers. With deepest sympathy, The Ugast Family Joe, Suzanne, Joey and JP
Mary, I am so sorry for your tragic loss. Don was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. He was giving, thoughtful, and someone you just liked being around. When I saw the hundreds of people that came to pay their respects at his service, I knew he had that effect on lots of people. And as a business partner, which is how I knew him, he challenged and motivated me and the rest of the team he worked with. You and your family are in my prayers-I know that only God can get you through this time. Take care.
