On Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Lena Newsom; devoted father of their three children: David Newsom, Valerie Guarnieri (David) and the late Daniel Newsom; and grandfather of Alex, Olivia, Claire, Matthew, Isabel, Tristan and Aidan. Don is also survived by another daughter, Gayle Barnes, daughter-in-law, Kathy Newsom and sister, Mary Eaddy. A service to honor Don will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in 2017.
