On Friday December 30, 2011 of Chevy Chase, MD died in her home in Springfield, VA of natural causes. Dorothy was married to Walter B. Garver (d. 1991) for 45 years. She is survived by her son Jeffrey W. Garver of Vienna, VA, and grandchildren, Aaron Klien and Jeannie Klein. Her daughter Susan Garver Klein died in 1990.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Dorothy's name to the Audobon Society.
