Guestbook

  1. 1971, this seventeen year kid, aspiring to be a veterinarian, started working for Charlie. The experience, and mentoring by Dr. Patton, confirmed this was the path I wanted to follow. A kind, gifted, compassionate, humble, healer….Charlie set the bar for what kind of veterinarian I wanted to become.
I worked for Charlie every summer and semester break I could, until the time he came back to his much loved alma mata, the University of Georgia, and offered me a job, as a soon to graduate, veterinarian. I accepted and I continued to learn from Charlie. The lifestyle, and pace, of the Beltway finally caused me to move away. But Charlie and I remained good friends for all these 46 years. I loved him, thought of him more often than he ever imangined, and will miss him dearly. God speed kind Doctor….

  2. From the Lloyd Emery Family:
Dr. Charlie Patton was so very kind and generous to us all. His love of animals will live on in his sweet
grandson “Little Charlie”. We look forward to the day where we can all be reunited with him and all
our families in God’s glory. Till that day Charlie will live in God’s loving care. We love you Dr. Patton!
