Dr. Wedo Nutaitis, Sr.

Dr. Wedo Nutaitis, Sr., a retired Fairfax dentist and Naval Officer in WW II, died on March 21, 2017 of age related causes at his daughters home in Maryland. Survivors include his daughter Michele Mathis and her husband Keith; his sons, Dr. Matthew Nutaitis and his wife Catherine and Dr. John Nutaitis and his wife Dr. Beckie Michael. Also survivng are 10 grandchildren; Joseph, John, James, Josh and Jake Mathis, along with their spouses; Matt, James and Katie Nutaitis, with their spouses; and John Michael and Alexandra Nutaitis. There are also 7 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Fairfax, Va., on Friday April 21st at 11:00 AM with the burial immdeiately following at Quantico National Cemetery. Dr. Nutaitis will be buried next to his wife of 60 years, Caroline, who died 7 years ago. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local YMCA.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Fairfax, Va., on Friday April 21st at 11:00 AM with the burial immdeiately following at Quantico National Cemetery. Dr. Nutaitis will be buried next to his wife of 60 years, Caroline, who died 7 years ago. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local YMCA.
