Durwood C. Glidden (age 86) of McLean, Virginia passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2009. Husband of Leona M. Glidden; father of Donn Glidden, Dennis Gliddon, Larry Gliddon, Errol Gliddon, Sean Glidden, Shirley Trammell, Sharon Tudor & the late Vaughn Glidden. He is also survived by many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

For all the Glidden Family, Durwood was a wonderful neighbor and a friend. From the first day we moved in he helped us whenever we asked. Occasionally the results were not exactly as planned….particularly the pine tree in the pool. Of course the pine tree was down which was the point of the exercise. We will miss him, and also Leona.
