Duwonie Edward Cash, age 67 of Fairfax, VA died on November 19, 2020 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Beloved husband of Debra B. Cash for 33 years. Father of Damien E. Cash (Theresa Clark) and Crystalee C. Hagen (Brendan Hagen); brother of Diane Cash Oakley. He is also survived by grandchildren: Everett Cash Hagen and Kellan Henry Hagen, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues. Duwonie had a long and successful career in the real estate property management service and sales industry, which was a perfect fit for his open and friendly personality. Due to current restrictions a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family suggests those wishing to make memorial contributions consider the Fisher House Foundation, Inc. or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Duwonie was just a great person to be around. He taught me a lot over the years, professionally and personally. He will missed, Sending prayers and condolences for the Cash Family.
Duwonie was a pal for 43 years – I believe we talked every month or two throughout those years. I will so miss our talks and friendship and especially ‘The World According to Duwonie” rants! haha – My heart is heavy with this loss – I will so miss him – along with his tons of friends! Jim Collins
Duwonie was such a kind and fun Southern Gentleman. I can’t count the great times I had with him. He sure could weave a tale in that drawl. Gonna miss him calling me “Chucky Boy” in that drawl. He is loved by all and will be missed. The world needs more Duwonies, not less. Love you Duwonie!
This Guy was a lot of fun in high school . We were in I.C.T. class together. Teacher A.B. Swindell at J.F. Webb High School 1972. My condolences to his family.
