Edward Alan 'Fritz' Appleton on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at his residence in Vienna, VA. Father of Sandra (Larry) Johnson of Edmonds, WA, Barbara (Jerry) Hollis of Winchester, VA, Karen (K.T.) Appleton of Oakland, CA, Rick (Elaine) Appleton and Jimbo (Zetta) Appleton, both of Manassas, VA and Bobby (Debbie) Appleton of Sterling, VA; brother of Evelyn Hamaker of Savannah, GA, Charlotte Downing of Staunton, VA, Thomas (Patricia) Noland of Ireland and Sharon Noland of Cleveland, OH. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 11 a.m. at the Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA. Interment Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital Hospice or the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department.
