  2. John, I didn’t have the privilege of knowing your father, but he was a good man to have had a great son like you. I miss you. Jean Stewart

  3. John and Janine,
Please accept Marie and I’s deepest sympathies for your loss.
Your parents were favorite clients of mine and I’ll never forget the assistance they offered when they knew we were planning a trip to Venice and Florence(a favorite destination of theirs).
Your father was also a very humble man and I never knew that he was a highly decorated Viet Nam and Korean War veteran.
I will cherish the fond memories of our relationship and am happy to know he’s reunited with his beloved wife Joyce.
    Noel and Marie

  4. Janine & John, I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your father, one of my dad’s best friends. I have some good memories of your father and oh what a great laugh he had. Maybe he and Dad will play around of golf up there?

    John Gilboux

  5. Ed was a great classmate and friend. His contributions to the nation
via his military service, outstanding. May he rest in peace and may
his family and friends be consoled by the wonderful life he led.

  6. Edward was my Godfather. As a kid the few times that I was able to see him he was a bigger than life hero figure. He was tall and strong and had a real presence about him, and he was in the Army! I bragged to all my little friends that he was a Green Beret I was so proud he was my Godfather. So sad to hear of his passing my condolences to the family.

  7. You can take the man from the Army but you can’t take the Army from the man. I worked with Ed shortly after I founded my first company. He was at Calculon at the time. We became friends almost immediately. I had finished 8 years of active duty in the US Army two years before and opened a Human Resources Recruiting Firm. Ed’s company hired me to build a staff for a project Ed was in charge of. You could say we spoke the same language or that we had the same professional standards, or perhaps both. We worked together well. From there I became an executive in a Defense firm but after trying to hire Ed without sucess we established a great professional relationship. I often sought his guidence and he from time to time asked me for my counsel. He was a good man, an honest man and he believed in doing the best he could for those he supervised as well for his friends but always for his family. I retired early and Ed and I lost contact as a result of my move home to Michigan, but his friendship was the type that was always there. A good man, a good friend and an outstanding and honest professional!
