Edward E. Belet, Sr. died peacefully in his sleep August 27, 2007 at his home. Loving husband of Carmel A. Belet; devoted father of Diane Yakoski, Edward E. Jr., Cheryl and Timothy Belet; brother of Fred Belet. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Fannie Belet; sisters, Henrietta Kohler, Marianne Piatt, Jessie Heilich and brothers, Jacques, Robert and Joseph Belet.
A Life Celebration will be held on Friday, August 31, 2007 at MONEY AND KING FUNERAL HOME, 171 Maple Ave., West, Vienna, VA, 22180 from 3 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 26, 2007, 1 p.m. at Fort Myer Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS, 615 S. Frederick Ave., #308, Gaithersburg, MD 20877.
