Eileen Hazard Michalsky
August 4, 1952 ~ October 25, 2022
Eileen Hazard Michalsky was a caring and devoted daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend. She left this world suddenly, but at peace, at her home in Oakton, Virginia, on October 24, 2022. She was 70 years old.
She leaves behind her Beloved husband Terry L Michalsky, her siblings, Susan Hazard, Kevin Hazard (JoAnn), Christopher Hazard and so many Nieces & Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, and a Great, Great Nephew. Her parents, her brother Mike Hazard, and her nephew, Jackson Hazard, went before her. The homecoming was certainly Glorious.
Eileen was born August 4, 1952 to George and Lora Hazard, completing their family of 7. She was an accomplished artist, both a painter and avid photographer, studying her craft at Corcoran School of the Arts & Design.
She was a world traveler, sharing many adventures with her family and friends trekking all over the globe. As a Senior Flight Attendant for Eastern Airlines where she served for 20 years, she was able to continue her love for travel and her fellow
humans, making several trips into India bringing orphaned infants to their new families in the States. She carried that compassionate and giving spirit into her later life where she found purpose taking care of the elderly. Her laugh could bring a smile to anyone's face.
Please join the family for a Celebration of such a Wonderful Life, Saturday, October 29th at Money and King Funeral Home 171 Maple Avenue W Vienna Virginia. Visitation will begin at 10 am followed by a service to honor Eileen at 11 am. Internment will follow at National Memorial Park 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia.
In Lieu of Flowers, and keeping in step with Eileen’s generosity throughout her entire life, Terry asks that you make a donation to your favorite charity in Eileen’s name.

Sue, I’m so very sorry for this devastating loss. Eileen was an incredible human being and it was a joy to know her and travel with her. She taught me how to shave my legs (in St. Martin) and how property put on make-up. Great memories!! Love to you,
Kim
I so recall meeting Eiileen at our home as a tween.Shed come over to hang out with my brother Johnny.Wow!She was very pretty and full of joy.
Then l recall her helping my n Johnny out watching out for our dad Oscar.ln his last year of life.As he lived at home.He was a lively 92 year old.Shed dance with him…sing with him.Cheer him.Take him to doctors at times.Me n my brother were very grateful for her being there with him.
It’s sad to see such a good wonan very decent lady pass away!We don’t have many who are so positive and happy…and caring for others.
May God bless her and keep her close in His loving arms.May Jesus comfort her family now.
Much love

I went to grade school with Eileen at OLGC and high school at at James Madison. She was always a very sweet person. The quintessential cheerleader. Overall pretty woman. I am sorry that she is gone.
Eileen was the most beautiful woman I ever met. From the time I was a child I always remember how she lit up a room. As I grew older I realized what made Eileen so enchanting was her beauty came from within to make her a beautiful human. I love you Eileen, may you rest in eternal peace. Xoxo Cindy
Eileen always said she liked me because I loaned her when we were in elementary school, OLGC. I don’t think it happened, because I have a good memory about those things. But I like the idea that Eileen had a nice memory of me. She only had nice things to say about everyone. Always smiling; sparkling eyes. So lovely.
ill always remember growing up in Vienna with you, Ice skating on the ponds at Westwood, rest in peace Eileen
