Elaine Frances McCusker

Elaine Frances McCusker, of Vienna, VA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2015; beloved wife of the late John S. McCusker for 44 years; devoted mother of Alfred, John, Jeffrey, Helaine, Stuart and James; loving grandmother of Ashley, Robert, Megan, Melanie, Jacob, Noah, Lauren, Carson, Abigail and Emily; and great-grandmother of William. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late NYPD Police Officer Alfred Glockner and Helen Glockner. She was predeceased by her sister, Doris Imhof.
Elaine was a life-long educator and volunteer who devoted herself to her family, community; and her students as a past PTA President and co-director of the Cathedral Nursery School in Garden City, New York prior to relocating to Vienna, VA. Family and friends may gather at Money and King Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Our Lady of Good Council, Vienna, VA. Interment will be at her husband's side at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation to care for those that have defended our nation.
