Elias Nuval
September 12, 2003 ~ April 22, 2022
Elias Nuval, born September 12, 2003, passed away on April 22, 2022 at age 18 in Fairfax, Virginia. A beloved son, brother, family member, and friend, Elias is survived by his mother Ana Emilia Rogers (Thomas Rogers), father Rodney Nuval (Nina Gabriel), brothers Liam, Nathan, and Cyrus, sisters Pia, Mel, and Sarah, along with extended family members.
Elias was a thoughtful and caring student and friend at Oakton High School. He was a successful wrestler who showed a lot of promise and earned a varsity position on the Oakton Wrestling Team his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years. He was a mainstay of the team and encouraged his teammates with his spirited behavior and perseverance. Elias enthusiastically embraced weightlifting, and one of his accomplishments was joining the "1000 pound club" where his total of three lifts exceeded 1000 pounds.
Above all, his family is deeply proud of what a kind and caring young man he became. He will forever be missed by his loving family, friends, and teammates who treasured the time they had with Elias.

I was very pleased to see your commitment and dedication to the people things that you loved, and how you set and achieved goals. I’ll never forget you!
