  3. So sorry to learn of Betty’s passing. She deserves great credit for resurrecting the Gold Coast chapter of CIRA, and she will be missed. I offer my condolences to Betty’s extended family.

  4. Betty was the most dedicated mother & grandmother that I have ever known..she could not do enough for them..they were truly blessed to have her in their lives. In my life I was also fortunate in having her as a friend for we had some wonderful times in past years and this I will always remember. My heartfelt thoughts are with you all at this time, Love, M&M

  5. Situ,I’m writing in present tense because my belief is strong that you’re right beside me & you don’t want me to be sad.All I’ve done is smile & laugh at how happy you make me.Your personality is one of a kind. You’re my biggest supporter.I feel you all around me. I can almost hear you singing me a lullaby in Arabic to help me fall asleep. I feel you encouraging me to study. I feel like you’re about to walk in & ask if there’s anything you can do to help. Or ask if I need some water. Or help me practice vocabulary. Or proofread my essay. I feel like we’re about to go to McDonalds drive through & get a Large Fry and a Diet Coke for you & a ice cream sundae for me then play a card game at your kitchen table. All I am I owe to you. I know you can see/hear me, & are watching me & giving me all the strength I need. In this life you were like a candle, you burned yourself up to give others light. You helped so many people. You are now helping me more as my angel!I love you. Love, Your Sweetheart

  6. Robyn and Family Ralph and Family, Our deepest sympathies in the loss of your Mom. She was a special lady with class, spirit, and intellect. She was always there when you needed her and a great lifetime friend. We will remember her smile, her laugh, her love of family, and her devotion to God. She is missed but we are happy to have known her. Our prayers and love are with you.

  7. We were saddened to hear of Betty’s passing and extend warm condolences to her loving and supportive family. May your memories of her bring you comfort and peace.

  8. I am sorry to learn of the death of Betty Buckley. She was “one of a kind” and made a distinct impression on me when I was a new, young officer in the CIA. I played bridge with Betty — she was smart and competitive! And I learned much from her when we served together in Bangkok. I will pray for the repose of her soul and for the grace of Our Lord to be with you, her family.

  9. Robin and family & Ralph and family: My deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss. My thoughts are with both of you and your families.

  10. Elizabeth was my right hand support for several years at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and we not only worked closely as a team, but shared life experiences and family developments. It was both a pleasant and a productive partnership, and I have thought back to those days many times in recent years. Although our lives went in different directions, we were in touch from time to time, and I have thought back many times to those very good days. It is whom you touch in life and how you touch them that matters. Elizabeth touched many and positively. Warmly, Mike Samuels

  11. Our deepest condolences for the loss of Betty. She was a sparking personality. We hope to see you at Holy T. Brian Chris(Colie)Addie and Jack

  13. Betty was a member of my Redhat chapter, Autumn’s Fiery Reds, here in S. Florida. She got a kick out of the fact that I was married to Chico Fernandez a former Major League Shortstop. She laughed easily and shared my love of flowers. Our deepest sympathy to her family.

  14. I am so sorry to hear of Aunty Bettys demise. My name is Sonny (Ehtesham) and I am from Pakistan.
