Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. The world lost a great lady, My Aunt Libby. My Fathers baby sister. She truly is going to be missed, As a child, I remember spending a lot of time @ my Aunt and Uncles house. She was always a part of mine and my brothers lives. When I think of my childhood and my Aunt Libby, two things come to forefront of my mind. Firstly, I must have driven her crazy, I would sing the commercial jingle when it says Libbys, Libbys Libbys on the label, label, label, you will like it, like it, like it, on your table, table, table She would just laugh along with me, every time I sung it, , even after the 100th time. Secondly, My Aunt Libby was all of 5 Feet tall, but she was always, so much bigger to me. I can remember, being in the 4th grade and passed her in height. It was a big deal being taller than her. She was an incredible sister, mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother and aunt. I wish you peace and will always love you.

  2. Libby was our neighbor on Kenwood and friend for 33 years. She was the SWEETEST Christian lady, I ever met. Memories are too numerous to mention. I will MISS my friend, our visits, our talks, our lunches out. I will miss bringing you banana breads and wedding soup and your love for family, friends, nature and your pets. She loved collecting Dolls that looked like her children and grandchildren. RIP, sweet Libby… Always in my heart LOVE….. GloryBe

  5. My Mom was the most wonderful person I have ever known. She was loving and kind to all people – no matter who they were, where they came from, what they looked like. She loved all people the way Jesus loves all people. More people should be like Elizabeth Reed.
