Esther Teresa Reeser, died peacefully on July 27, 2015 at home in Fairfax, VA, Esther was born August 8, 1926, in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Esther worked as an Administrative Supervisor/Emergency Department at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, DC for more than 35 years. Esther was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She also loved to watch TV and listen to her Big Band records.
Esther was predeceased by her parents, Teresa and Ernest Schmid, siblings, Carmella Schmid and Joseph Schmid. Esther is survived by her son Marc Reeser and his wife Beth, daughter Christina Olechna and husband Frank and sisters Rose Viscusi and Gloria Dickey. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Christen Reeser, Kyle Reeser, and Sydney Olechna.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 2:00 4:00 PM at Money and King Funeral Home 171 W. Maple Avenue, Vienna, VA 22180 for a memorial celebration of life.

Esther was such a good friend to me and my family while living next door to her in Olney Maryland. She was a great cook and she was especially fond of my youngest daughter Carrie whom she had over for lunch often to make her yummy tomato sandwich. God love her…I have thought of her almost every day since we moved away and just just stumbled upon her passing. What a great person who truly was a Very special person in my life. She loved her children so much and her Chrisy and Marc were her pride and joy. Love to the family. -Rita, Angie, Julie, and Carrie Harrell.
