"Gene" (Age 85)

Of McLean, VA died on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Powhatan Nursing Home in Falls Church, VA. Loving husband of 59 years to Margaret "Marge" Polzin, devoted father of Eugene, Jr. "Bob", Mary Salmon (John), Cathy McDevitt (Rick), Joanne (Tim), Julie (Tom) and Jackie (Steve); cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Floyd (Joyce), Ardis MacKenzie, Dianne Raube and Carole Daniels (Jack).

Gene was a Korean Veteran and retired from the CIA after 30 years as a communications specialist.

Relatives and friends are invited to Gene's Life Celebration at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1545 Chain Bridge Rd., McLean, VA 22101 on Monday, April 27 from 10 AM till time of service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at National Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Gene's memory
