Of Oakton, VA died on Friday, April 13, 2012 with her family by her side. Beloved wife for 68 years to Samuel Johnston; devoted mother of Leslie (Robert) Orr, Linda Johnstone and Steve (Eleanor) Johnston. She is also survived by her sister, Wanda Leister; 5 granchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 2 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Capital Caring, 2900 Telestar Ct., Falls Church, VA 22042.

Jean will always hold a very special place in our family’s heart. She will always be remembered for her grace, her caring, her talent, and for her friendship.
