Joanne is now with the Lord and I am so grateful that I got to know her through Community Bible Study. May memories of her and the love of our Lord bring comfort and peace to your hearts.
Jim, I was shocked to hear about Joanne’s sudden death. It was wonderful that you brought Joanne to the Breakers. We are grateful we could see her one last time. With love and prayers, Joan

Demetra and I wish to extend our deepest sympathies to all the Brooker family in this time of great mourning. It was my honor and privilege to serve as Joanne’s physician for many years and I will always remember her faithful devotion to the Lord and to her family in the midst of trying circumstances. Demetra and I will also cherish the experiences we shared during a spiritually uplifting trip to the Holy Land with Terry Fullam. As we all acknowledge the deep pain of her passing, may we also rejoice that she is now in the precious arms of the Lord, surrounded by thousands upon thousands of angels, and free from the pain and suffering that marked her final days here. Blessed be her memory and may all of God’s mercy and comfort be extended to her family!
To my favorite “Brooker family”, Frank and I offer our sincere condolences. Jim — you were one of the first bosses I worked with when I moved to Washington, D.C. (I had five of you at one time!). You and Joanne were always so wonderful to me and, of course, we always remember our Ring Bearer and Flower Girl (Matt and Cindy). We are so happy that you both were able to share our 40th wedding anniversary with us, along with seeing Matt again. I know everyone will miss Joanne and you all will be in our thoughts and prayers. Sorry we can’t be there.
Jim- How thankful I am that you brought Joanne to the Breakers in September. We shared our childhood.Kingergarten and all.I knew she would remember our second grade teacher, Miss Enke…and she did! We are all sad and thinking of you and your children and grandchildren. Joanne is in a peaceful place . We all loved her. Janet
