Fan B. Smith

Fan B. Smith, age 79, died on Monday, November 3, 2008. She was the beloved wife of Carey D. Smith; loving and devoted mother of Bryan O. Smith, Ernest "Price" Smith, Sarah E. "Beth" Babyak and the late Lt. Daniel Carey Smith, USN; sister of James Walker, Charlotte Bacon and Flo Carelock; grandmother of Stephen, Hunter, Jacelyn, Griffin, Grace, Blake, Jackson and Rachel. Fan was a longtime member of the McLean Baptist Church, where she was a active member, participated in the Baptist Women's Mission and the English as a second language class. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fan Smith Memorial Fund at McLean Baptist Church.
