We have known Florence and John for 33 years when we first moved to McLean and became next door neighbors. We have fond memories of Florence enjoying gardening and giving us tips on caring for our flowers and shrubbery. Most of all, Florence was always so kind to pick up our two children from school on days when we were unexpectedly delayed in getting home from work. We knew the children were safe in Florence’s care. We will remember Florence as a caring and gentile neighbor and friend. Kathy and Dave Stoehr
John, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your wife. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Love, Janet Scharp
