Dear Jo, As a member of the National Executive board of the Izaak Walton League of America I only saw Curley two or three times a year but considered both you and he a good friend. Along with my wife Pat the four of us shared many rubber chicken dinners together. Curley always had his camera handy, if he wasn’t taking pictures, he was telling you of his flying adventures or bragging about his children. Curly is truly one of the good guys. Sincerely, Tim and Pat Reid
My thoughts and prayers are with Curly and his family. While I worked with him in Air Force Association and Civil Air Patrol activites, I held him with high esteem.
Dear Jo and kids, I am truely sorry that your soulmate and dad, Curly, is gone. Judy and Mike send their condolences as well. Curly has gone to a better place of peace and understanding. When I see the birds, deer, squirrles and flowers in our joinig yards, I will think of him and how he loved nature. I am so glad that all of you are in my circle of friends. God’s peace and understaning be with you and you family always. Mary Beth, Elizabeth, Joshua and Frazier
Ross and I had many great times with our pilots’ association friends “Curly” and Jo…”Curly” will be sorely missed!…thanks for stopping by on your way to Aitkin!
My husband, Phil Brain and Curly were friends. Phil had only the greatest respect for Curly and his friendship was treasured over the years. When Curly would visit Minneapolis, Phil always enjoyed seeing him. I am so very sorry for your loss. It was a privilege to know him.
