My thoughts are with the family as Jerry was an incredible boss and friend. I think back at my retirement in 2010, when I invited Jerry to my retirement party. The following is a picture of the document that I gave Jerry, who would speak of his 10 Commandments. Wonderful memories.
So very sorry to hear about Jerry’s passing. He was a brilliant man always willing to help younger employees. Very sorry for your loss.

It’s a sad time but memories of Jerry always bring a smile to my face. He was a brilliant and very fun guy to work with, play golf with, be with. And he helped so many of us to be successful. God is going to enjoy Jerry’s sense of humor. Rest In Peace.

So sorry for your loss. I can’t tell you how much he’ll be missed. For me personally, Jerry was a true inspiration. No sugar coating… just said it like it was! He was the true champion of Mobil U, and I was fortunate enough to have him pass it to me for execution, being the benefactor of his mentoring, vision and unique motivation style. He’s one of the most influential people I’ve met. Rest In Peace Jerry.
I and my family became neighbors to Jerry and Ginny 15 years ago… and great neighbors indeed… an great friend. Our politics have been nearly identical and we had many conversations, complaints… and laughs… over the current state of things. Jerry and I shared love of our John Deere’s and graciously, his snow blower. Jerry took a great interest in our kids, through their college years and beyond always checking on their progress. Our son became Jerry’s defacto go- to Techy Guy, and we ALL already miss our good friend and his wisdom.
Gerry was an extraordinary mentor and coach. Always gave more to people and organizations than he received and that was what he wanted. His legacy is alive and well ….. inside many people. I will forever be grateful for the time he spent in ensuring the next generation learned from his experience. Really enjoyed talking about life, politics, and sports as Gerry had a keen insight on everything. Very sorry for your loss. Bruce March
