Gloria Jane Payne of Vienna, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024.
Beloved wife of the late Charles (Buddy) Payne. Loving Mother of Kimberly Shanklin, Patti Stoll (Mike), Laurie Gaffney (Pete), and Jennifer Booth (Doug). Devoted Sister of Robin Martin and Billy Chaconas (Janis) and survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the adored Mimi to 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Gus and Gloria Chaconas of Arlington, Va and her sister Mary Catherine White (Chaconas) of Falls Church, Va.
Relatives and friends are invited to Gloria’s Life Celebration at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 West Maple Avenue, Vienna, Virginia, on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024 from 11:30 am until time of service at 12:30 pm. Interment to follow at National Memorial Park.

Gloria was a Mother, Grandmother, Great- Grandmother, Sister, and friend to many.
The title she cherished most , I think, was Grandmother and Great- Grandmother. She loved her family.
