I only met Grace in her later years, but she gave me hope. Though our interactions were brief, she taught me a thing or two about growing older–that it didn’t have to be sad and empty, but could be full of life, humor, and, well, grace. She had a sharp mind and a quick wit, and was generous with her loved ones and their friends. What a full life she’s lived, and what a gift she’s left in legacy: her daughter and granddaughter. Two of the strongest, bravest, wisest women I’m privileged to know. Thank you, Grace.
