I was saddened upon learning the passing of my dear friend, Hazel who I had not seen for years. I was 3 1/2 years old when she graduated from the KY School for the Deaf in 1942. I knew her through living in the boys dorm with my parents while my dad was the boys’ supervisor and I often went to the girls dorm to visit. Hazel always showed interest in me and talked with me. I loved her. I will remember her fondly with cherished memories. Love, caring thoughts, and prayers for comfort are sent to her family. Carolyn
Mrs Taylor was THE sweetest, kindest, gentlest woman I have ever known…A true Lady in every sense of the word. My husband and I send our deepest sympathies to the wonderful family she raised and all those lucky enough to have known this soulful and remarkable woman. May her memory be a Blessing to all.
All my love to Judy, JoAnn, and your families as you face this loss. I pray that God and your loving memories of your mother will help you to carry on.
My prayers and condolences to you all. You are so blessed to have such a caring and loving mother who was loved by so many. May she rest in peace. God Bless.
Mrs. Taylor was a wonderful and loving woman to all who knew her. She was so kind and friendly when I would come to her house to visit her daughter, Judy. Judy loved her Mother dearly and spoke of her often. My heart goes out to Judy, JoAnn and Larry on the loss of their beautiful Mother.
Bless you and your family. We are Thinking of you and your mom. You’re in my prayers. Craig

My loving Aunt Hazel! The first to hold me when I was born! Your siblings will be overjoyed to see you as I know you will all be together again! I will miss you in my heart, love, Gene
I remember Hazel best as “Punky’s Mom”, from Madison High School days. We were a bit (ok-pretty much)of a wild bunch back then. There were a few of us whose Moms I knew well, and had a special affection for. They were good souls, kind, caring, and supportive, and whom in some ways seemed to enjoy having us around in spite of it all. Punky’s Mom was one of them. Thank you Hazel for being such a big part of my fondest memories. And you’ll be there forever. Peace and Love!
JoAnn, We are very sorry to learn of your Mom’s passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Jo Ann, Kevin and everyone, my heart goes out to you all but I know you will find comfort in your memories. Each and every one of you is a living testament to her and I know that you were loved. I am thinking of you, every minute of every day during this time. I will hold you in my heart always.
Hazel was a wonderful woman, her smile was infectious.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
Judy, Larry, JoAnn, I read this recently: Your mother is always with you. Shes the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street. Shes the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself. Shes the cool hand on your brow when youre not feeling well. Shes your breath in the air on a cold winters day. She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow. She is Christmas morning. Your mother lives inside your laughter. Shes the place you came from, your first home, and shes the map you follow with every step you take. Shes your first love, your first friend. Nothing on earth can separate you, not time, not space, not even death. — Unknown All my love, mo
Melinda & Family – I have so many fond memories of Happy and your family. She was such a beautiful, kind & caring woman. Remember the good times.
I was so sorry to learn of Aunt Hazel’s passing. As my Dad’s last remaining sibling, and one of his favorite Sisters, I am very sad that she is gone, but know she is in a much better place. I’m sure there was a huge family reunion going on when Aunt Hazel reached Heaven. My deepest sympthay to Joann, Judy, Larry and your families.
I will always remember the twinkle in her eyes, her beautiful smile AND the wonderful hugs filled with love. Aunt Hazel will be missed, but now the family is together. She along with all the brothers & sisters, with their Mom & Papa will continue to watch over us and send us their love. My heart aches, Cousin Stacey White Cottrell
