Mrs. Helen Bouldin, age 92 passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at her home in Fairfax, Virginia. She was the widow of Luther W. Nance

Born May 1, 1920 in Pamplin Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Sarah Hamler Bouldin and John Bouldin.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Bouldin and Beatrice Harding and two brothers, Leonard and Clarence Bouldin.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail Green and her husband Gary; two grandchildren, Gary Green, Jr. and his wife Nhi-Khanh and Genae Greene and three great grandchildren, Nya, India and Peyton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The First Baptist Church of Merrifield, Building Fund, 8122 Ransell Road, Falls Church, Virginia 22042 or Captial Caring, 2900 Telestar Court, Falls Church, Virginia 22042.

  6. To the family of Sis. Helen Bouldin. Please know that Ray and I have you lifted up in our prayers at the passing of your wonderful mother. She was Mother Bouldin or Ma Bouldin to so many of us with her loving and wise counsel. What we do know, without a shadow of a doubt, is that she is now home with the Lord. Although we know not having her here with you brings sadness, just know that she is now praising and dancing with our Lord and Savior whom she loved dearly. She gave that same love to all she met. Her kindness and love will be remembered and cherished forever.

  9. The girls and I will truly miss Mother B. She always had words of encouragement for us. Mother B. kept us focused on god’s word. She always said “he has a plan for all of us we need to stay focused on the lord”. I know she left this earth with a big smile on her face.
