We are so sad to hear the news of Hilda’s passing. The Thune family became family during and after our three years living next door in Vienna. We will miss our dear friend.

I wish I had the exact words that would take all your sorrow away, but I don’t. Hopefully knowing that there are people in your life that wish they could do the impossible and change the past is a comfort, if nothing else. My deepest condolences.
Hilda was a pillar of our church family and will be missed.
Hilda was a wonderful woman. She always greeted us with open arms when we came home to visit, and patiently watched over Doug’s mom for us when we were too far away. We could always count on her smile and sense of humor. We miss her already.
While I have not seen Hilda in a long time, when I saw her obituary notice, I was so sorry that I had lost contact with her and her family. I knew Hilda through her being Roman’s ( her husband) wife.Roman and I worked for the Veteran’s Administration and carpooled together. I remember the fun times we all had- Hilda was always so full of life. She will be truly missed.
Hilda and Roman had joyful hearts. It was so impressive to see the care that she provided for him. It was fun to enjoy her sly sense of humor in our visits. It is a joy to see that so many remember her fondly, including me.
