To the entire Hanna family, Please accept our deepest condolences! May Howard’s spirit and love for life..live within each of you. Love you all and may you find comfort in each other during this difficult time. Donna and Bob Robuck
Howard was such a pleasure to work with, and such an inspiration!, as he wended his way through the tax code to help each new person with a perplexing problem and each family frustrated by their attempts to file taxes properly. He was so cheerful and friendly and curious. He was missed this year, and my thoughts were with you and your family as you spent this time with him. May your memories of him comfort you in this difficult period.
We were so sorry to hear of Mr. Hanna’s death. We will always remember him fondly. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Howard was a great boss and an all around nice guy.
Our very deepest condolences to you all. We’ve been close friends of Deb and Marc’s for many years and know that so many of Marc’s wonderful and quirky traits are ones that he inherited from his Dad. We are wishing you peace and happy memories in your time of mourning.
Howard’s kindness and contributions to his community will live on in the relief he brought the less-privileged families over the last few years by helping them to prepare their tax returns. We will miss him as a vital part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Our deepest condolences also on behalf of James Do, VITA Program Director, Fairfax County, Department of Family Services.
Howard is a friend from the past. We worked together at FHWA for many years and I remember him fondly as a “straight shooter” who could be relied upon to do the right thing always. He will be missed!
Howard had such a great encouragement to a new tax volunteer like me to overcome the obstacles of all the tax codes and interpretations. He’ll always be remembered.
Meg & family, We are so sorry for your loss. Know that you are in our prayers and that we are here for you if you. Much love & hugs. Sharky & Rosalie
Very thankful to have met Howard at the Tyson’s Pimmit Library where he helped coordinate and volunteer in preparing tax returns for the VITA program. He was the go to guy for answers to the tough questions and just when you thought you had a question even he did not know he would say try this. Super patient and friendly with all. I hope some rubbed off on me. I am thankful for his 36 years of government service also.
