Mrs. Huong Q. Sauvageot (ne Nguyen) died at The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on December 5, 2015 in Bethesda, MD at the age of 72.

Huong is survived by her loving husband, Colonel J. Andre Sauvageot, US Army (Ret.) of Reston, VA, her daughter and son-in-law, Kim Linh Sauvageot and Adam Hayward Braun, and her grandchildren, Linh Mai Braun Sauvageot and Boden Sauvageot Braun, of Minneapolis, MN.

Huong was born on August 11, 1943 in Kien An, Vietnam to Cong Nguyen and Tuyen Thi Dam. She married J. Andre Sauvageot in 1970. They resided in Reston, VA for most of their 45-year marriage.

A funeral is scheduled for 1pm on December 12th, 2015 at Money and King Funeral Home (171 Maple Avenue WVienna, VA 22180). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Huong's life.

  1. I only met you once Chi Quynh when Kim was borne in Saigon. Our family knew Andre “Bac Hai” from My Tho and somehow we always keep in touch. Andre always included Chi Quynh with great fondness in our conversation. R.I.P Chi Quynh and we be sure to keep contact with Andre okay.
