Of Fairfax, Virginia on March 26, 2015 at Fairfax Nursing Center. Loving wife of the late LTC Willis Edward "Steve" Stephens, US Army (Ret.); loving mother of Suzanne Kae, James Edward (Christina) and Jayne Lynette (Michael Obst). She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jason Michael Stephens, Laura Kathleen Stephens, Lieselotte Angelika Obst, Kimberly Ruth Obst and Rebecca Kerstin Obst. She was predeceased by her parents, Harriet Seavy Irvin and Arthur Chester Irvin; siblings, Adrian and Dale Irvin and LuAnn Irvin Saathoff.

Jim and family – I’m so sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
On my first day as musician at Bruen Ch. Both Steve and Ione have had a very special place in our hearts. I could always count on them to be loving and kind. Never was there a complaint from them, only grateful for all the blessings of their lives. I have missed them since leaving, but I know they are both in a better place and whole and happy. We love you and miss you.
Family and Friends, I know that this is a very difficult time. It’s never easy to lose someone you love but the Bible promises us at John 5:28,29 that you will see Ione again. Until then may your hearts be filled with the wonderful memories of joyful times spent together as you celebrate a life well lived. Please accept my condolences.
