“Jackie is a Pip!” Rae would say when relating a frustration or happy story about her Mom. It was a great thing to hear stories about Jackie and what she was “scheming”. You see, to me Jackie was the ever the indirect web with me and the Fischer family. They are such real people. Real, as in not phony. Rae is one of the few people with whom I could ALWAYS be completely honest. Why? Well, it must have something to do with the way she was raised. Something went on in the pre-pubescent household of the Fischers that helped me someone who grew up with just a whispering hint of her father. I lived through many families in my teens and even until now in some ways. That is what the Fishers gave me. Rae is like a sister to me. I love her and her family for how they helped me. I love Jackie for being so open armed. Jackie, Rae and Robin, Thank you. Youve given me a great gift through Jackie. I miss her today. I havent seen her for too long a time, but I miss her. I will miss her tomorrow.
Cherry’s nail Salon deeply condolences to you and your family…She rests in peace! Love, Cherry,Lisa and Amy.
As a teenager hanging out at the Fischer house, all Robin and I could manage for Jackie was the rolling of the eyeballs. Now, what we wouldn’t give for one more afternoon listening to her opinions that were so gifted with total irreverence! Her humor and style will be sorely missed.
The Triadelphia High School Class of 1947 extend our deepest sympathy in the passing of Jackie. She will be missed by those, of our class, that are still remaining. Gini Carle, Reunion Chairman
I had the pleasure of working with Jackie at Goodwill in the 80’s. She was a dedicated and loyal coworker, but moreover, she was a good friend. Jackie was always smiling and as someone else said, she seemed to always be up to something…scheming…but always in the name of fun. She was a light that shined on all of us in and I will always feel the warmth of her smile. Rest in peace, Jackie.
