James A. Grant, died on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at his home in Vienna, Va., surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by Margaret, his beloved wife of 59 years. Devoted father of Allen, Suzanne, Peggy and Cindy, adored grandfather of Wynter, Mai, Max, Anna, Lauren and Nicholas, proud great-grandfather of London James. A decorated World War II veteran, he was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart. I knew and worked with Jim at the Town of Vienna. He was the Planning Administrator and I worked in Public Works. We worked on the Town Maps together. I’m sorry to hear of his passing.
