James A. Jensen, Jr.
February 19, 1934 ~ September 16, 2017
James Jensen, Jr. of Vienna, VA, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior and was reunited with his beautiful wife, Betty, on September 16, 2017. Jim was born in Quincy, MA on February 19, 1934.
He served in the US Army, where he met his wife Betty, who was with the American Red Cross. He worked for the Boston Gas Company and later started his own company, J.A. Jensen & Associate, Inc. He was known by his friends as “Big Jim” with a big personality and an even bigger heart for others. The consummate story teller, salesman and successful business owner he always went out of his way to help others.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Betty Jane Jensen and his sisters Joan and Pauline. He is survived by his brother Thomas Jensen of Braintree, MA, his children Mary Jo Schramm (Michael) of Stephens City, VA, James Jensen, III (Miriam) of Ashburn, VA and Jeffery Jensen (Anne) of Lynchburg, VA, grandchildren James Jensen IV, Taylor Jensen, Sarah Grifana, Charlie Reyes, Jeffery Jensen II, Christopher Schramm, Bailey Ailstock (Mui), E’Lian Reyes, Cody Jensen, Catalina Reyes, Nathan Jensen and six great grand-children.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 21 from 6:00 until 8:00pm at Money and King Funeral Home in Vienna, VA. Graveside service and burial will be on Friday, September 22 at 2:00pm at Smithers Cemetery in Mathews, VA.

We will miss him and his stories dearly but know that he is rejoicing with our Lord and the family and friends who have gone before him.
