James B. Small, III, age 77, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Fairfax Hospital. He was a resident of Falls Church, Va. He was retired from the Fairfax County Fire Department after 25 of service and retiring as a Batalion Chief. He was also a member of Local 2068 of Fairfax County-Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics.

He is survived by his wife Geneva P. Small, his son

C. A. Martin (wife Lidia) and his grandchildren April and Hunter Martin. The family will receive friends at the Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, Va., on Wednesday, May 17th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM where funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 18th at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lewinsville Presbyterian Church Cemetery in McLean. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fairfax County First Foundation, PO Box 3806, Fairfax, Va 22038.

  11. I am sorry I am currently out of town and cannot attend the service, but Mr Small will be missed at the Elks. Unfortunately a lot of the lunch bunch have left us.
