Dear Kery, I enjoyed working with Jim over the last eleven years. He always had a smile on his face and a positive demeanor. A great real estate agent and an even better person. My condolences on behalf of the entire RE/MAX Allegiance family.
Dear Keri and the Hughes Family, Jim was a wonderful colleague. He maintained a great attitude and professionalism over decades in a challenging profession. Jim cared deeply for others and lived life with passion. We mourn your loss and will sadly miss him. Kristin Stone
Dear Keri & Family, I’m so taken aback by the passing of Jim. I, too, did not know him too well, but was always so warmly greeted by him at all the REMAX functions I saw him at. He was so warm & friendly that I knew he was as nice a man as everyone said he was. May God give you strength during these painful days.
To the Hughes Family, Jim was my real estate agent over 20 years ago when I bought my first, and only, house here in Alexandria. I was shocked and saddened to see his obituary in the paper. Jim was not only a highly skilled and talented real estate agent but, more importantly, he was an uncommonly decent and caring person. He was most generous in sharing his knowledge and providing advice to this novice home buyer, and I will always appreciate that. I am so sorry for your loss. I will remember Jim and you in my prayers.
My deepest sympathy and my thoughts and prayers are with all the family through this most difficult time. Much love,
To his wives and children: I’m so terribly sorry. I knew Jim from when we were 18, at both Georgetown and in England. Reserved yet fun, agreeable yet disciplined, Jim was always so easy to like. Soon after I arrived in college, he persuaded me to play rugby (in fact, the same position) which I hugely enjoyed all four years – in London while Jim was at Kent). I’ve always thought of Jim as one of my closer friends from college – and I’m just so sad he’s gone. So much more must you be who were so much closer and whom he loved so much. The memory of him will always be with me – and I hope his influence will always help all of you. My love, Tom Dean
Dear Keri: Haywood and I are very sadden by your loss. You and your family will be forever in our thoughts and prayers. We met Jim three years ago when my husband was on his way to being deployed and I was caring for a new born as well. Jim walked me through the process of buying our home. He was very funny and very patience with me. I will always remember his professionalism and his kindness. May God bless you and your family. Extra hug and kisses for Rory.
Dear Keri, I just received notice of Jim’s passing in the mail today and I am shocked and deeply saddened. Jim handled both the purchase and the sale of my first home purchase in Annandale, VA a few years ago. Jim was a pleasure to work with – he was so sincere and deep-hearted, yet such a professional. It was obvious that his family was his first priority and his pride and joy. All if you are in my thoughts and prayers.
