James Edward Knisley, age 57, of Vienna, VA died on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center. Loving son of the late Otho and Dolores Knisley; loving brother of Joyce Ann Miller, Carolyn Lee De La Cruz (Roy), Otho Wilson Knisley, Jr., David Richard Knisley and Doreen Marie Bennett (Steve). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jim's Life Celebration at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Thursday, July 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the American Legion, 330 Center St., Vienna, VA, on Saturday, July 25 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

  7. Jimmy was a very sweet compassionate person. He was very funny and loved his redskins team. He left a imprint on everyone’s life and he will be miss by many people, he was a fighter till the end. He may be gone but will always be with us in spirit,and looking down on us from the heaven upbove. Condolences go out to all of his living family.   10. I haven’t seen or met jimmy in several years. I was about 4/5 years old when I remember last seeing him. And I’m filled with grief and condolences for our family & his friends and truely saddened I couldn’t reunite with him sooner. Rest in peace, and shall we meet again after all these years some day.
