James Francis O'Donnell, 86, a resident of Oakton, Va., passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at his home. He is survived by his beloved wife Jill L. O'Donnell (nee: Rehagen); his son, James S. O'Donnell; his grandchildren, Pearce, Margaret and Stephen O'Donnell and his sister, Josephine Martinez of Pittsburgh, PA>
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 9970 Vale Rd., Vienna, Va. Inurnment will follow in St. Mark Church Garden.

Jill and Family, I am so sad to hear of Jim’s passing. Such a kind gentleman. He always greeted me with that big smile and firm handshake, “Hello Joseph! How are you doing and how is the family” and you knew he genuinely cared. I will miss our conversations about the Club and Life. I always learned something when I talked with Jim. We met James during one of his visits to Ireland. He was proud of his Irish heritage and interested in his O Donnell ancestors. My late father Patrick J. O Donnell was also fond of James and Jill.
